Volunteer with Us: Shade Tree Distribution at Dobson High School

Trees Matter is partnering with City of Mesa for the new Mesa Shade Tree Program! Trees Matter is in need of several volunteers to help with distributing hundreds of desert-adapted shade trees to Mesa residents, offered by the City of Mesa in partnership with Trees Matter.

The weekend before, participants attended a tree care workshop, and selected 2 shade trees that they would receive at a distribution event day. They will arrive in the drive thru we set up to pick-up their trees. We need lots of help to ensure the day runs smoothly!

You can read about each of the roles in the sign-up below, and sign up directly for whichever sounds like the best fit for you. Roles range from customer service to more physically active roles!

Our Outreach Manager, Ariel, will email out event information and logistics well before event day, so we're all prepared! These events are volunteer-powered! We couldn't do it without our incredible volunteers!
