Volunteer with Us: Shade Tree Distribution Event at PERA Club, Tempe

Trees Matter is in need of several volunteers to help with distributing 3,000 desert-adapted shade trees to SRP participants.  Over the course of the summer months, SRP participants attended tree care workshops, and selected 2 shade trees that they would receive once the weather was more suitable for planting. 

They will arrive to pick-up their trees between 8am-12:00pm. They will also have the opportunity to talk with tree experts to help provide additional advice on tree care! 

It's an exciting day for everyone (I mean, who doesn't smile when they're picking up free shade trees?), and we need lots of help to ensure the day runs smoothly. There are many volunteer roles that help make the day a great success. You can read about each of the roles in the sign-up page link.
