Learn how to make wine easily and inexpensively in this introductory-level class.How to make strawberry wine and mead (made from Honey) will be covered in a live demonstration of how to prepare the fruit, what nutrients to add, how to activate the fermentation, what to do to during the process, and how to rack & bottle the wine. 

About the instructor:

Lisa has been pursuing sustainable living practices for many years. She has an irrigated property with over 40 fruit and nut trees on 1.5 acres. Lisa has back yard chickens, a very large netted garden area, composting, and an outdoor earth oven. She grows champagne grapes but makes wine using all kinds of fruit from her yard including plums, oranges, mulberries and elderberries. Lisa is a former VPA Board Member and is and is the President and Founder of Lady Bug Eco-Friendly Pest Control.
