Community Event: Glendale Garden Gathering

VPA is excited to join the Glendale Conservation and Sustainable Living Office on Saturday, March 28th for their Green Garden Gathering!

Held from 10am-2pm, the purpose of this event is for attendees to learn about desert landscaping, pollinators, and wildlife. VPA has been invited to be an exhibitor at the event to further provide information about wildlife, pollinators, and/or native plants.

10am-11:30am 

Gardeners Gone Wild! Hear from two Valley homeowners about how they developed their own desert-friendly yards to attract pollinators, including birds and butterflies. They did it, so can you!


11:30am-1pm

Create a Beautiful Yard with Native Plants. Learn how to create an attractive, colorful and water-smart landscape with native plants. Attendees to receive a free low-water-use plant after attending a class. Plants available on a first-come, first-served basis.


Activities

Participate in kid-friendly crafts in the garden and check out booths about wildlife, pollinators, and gardening.
